I recently asked a friend of mine for a reccommendation on a good coral shade of lipstick, and she suggested I check out Colourpop Cosmetics. The company is based in Los Angeles, where I’m from, and all of their Lippie Stix are $5, so I thought, “Why not?” I ordered the shade Yasmin and (im)patiently awaited its arrival.

Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! These guys pack a pigmented punch of color into their little Lippie Stix. Yasmin is absolutely everything I was hoping for. I’ve never really been into coral shades before, but I am definitely a fan of this one. It’s the perfect mix of orangey-red that I have been dreaming of.

And can we talk about how it pops with this black and white outfit? I think it’s safe to say that I will forever be a fan of Colourpop.
