An ivy-covered wall is one of my all-time favorite aesthetics. I walked by this one yesterday on the way to dinner with my boyfriend and noticed that there was a picture-perfect opening in the ivy, so I asked him to take a few photos.

I live for moments like this, when I get to stop and appreciate something as simple as a beautiful wall. Often times when I’m walking around in public I feel pressure to just keep moving for fear that I’ll get in somebody’s way if I stop to look at or photograph something. But today was a nice day - no one shuffling around me or giving me weird looks.

Chattanooga really is a beautiful city. There’s a mix of urban and natural elements unlike anywhere I’ve lived before. Whenever I walk downtown, I see something beautiful.
